Privacy Policy

In short
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not store anything you type into the contact form on our servers. The form simply opens your own email application so that you can send us a message directly. We process personal data mainly when you contact us about our services, and we use it only to respond to you and to manage our business relationship.
1. Who we are
TASAVIA is an ISO9001 certified aviation technical and commercial services provider. This policy applies to this website and to the enquiries we receive through it, across our offices:
- TASAVIA LTD (United Kingdom) — Suite 181, 6 Edison Buildings, Electric Wharf, Sandy Lane, Coventry, CV1 4JA, United Kingdom.
- TASAVIA (United States) — 18815 Lantern Cove Ln, Tomball, TX 77375, United States.
- TASAVIA (Türkiye) — Emniyettepe Mah. Sadabat Sk. No: 11/1, Eyüpsultan, Istanbul, Türkiye.
The office you deal with acts as the controller of your personal data. For general privacy questions, write to sales@tasavia.com.
2. What personal data we collect
When you browse this website. We do not set cookies and we do not run analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking. Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for the limited purposes of serving the site securely and diagnosing faults.
When you use the contact form. The form on our website does not transmit anything to us by itself. When you submit it, your own email application opens with the message pre-filled, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it. We therefore receive only what you decide to email us.
When you contact us or do business with us. We process the information you give us, which typically includes your name, company, job role, email address, telephone number, and the content of your enquiry — for example the aircraft, components or services you are interested in. Where we enter into a commercial relationship, we also process the contract, order, shipping, certification and billing details needed to carry it out.
We do not deliberately collect special categories of personal data, and we ask that you do not send us any.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, provide quotations, manage our customer and supplier relationships, keep records of our dealings, and protect the security of our systems.
- Performance of a contract — to supply, exchange, repair or manage components and services you have ordered, and to handle logistics, documentation and invoicing.
- Legal obligation — to meet accounting, tax, customs, export control and aviation documentation requirements.
- Consent — where we ask for it separately, for example before sending commercial updates. You can withdraw consent at any time.
For our Türkiye office, the equivalent grounds under KVKK (Law No. 6698) apply, including performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests where these do not override your fundamental rights.
6. International transfers
Because we operate in the United Kingdom, the United States and Türkiye, your personal data may be transferred between these countries. Where personal data protected by UK or EU GDPR is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses, and limit the transfer to what is necessary. You may request details of the safeguards we use.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any relationship that follows from it. Records connected with contracts, accounting, tax, customs and aviation documentation are kept for the periods required by the applicable law in each country, after which they are deleted or archived securely.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including access controls on our systems and encryption of this website in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending us sensitive information by unencrypted email.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we process it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Under KVKK you also have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request that it be corrected or destroyed, and to object to results produced solely by automated analysis.
To exercise any of these rights, write to sales@tasavia.com. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your data protection authority — in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK); or the supervisory authority in your EU member state.
10. Children
This website and our services are directed at businesses in the aviation industry and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and any material change will be reflected here.
12. Contact us
For any question about this policy or about how we handle personal data, contact us at sales@tasavia.com, or write to TASAVIA LTD, Suite 181, 6 Edison Buildings, Electric Wharf, Sandy Lane, Coventry, CV1 4JA, United Kingdom.
